Community Invited to Reception to Honor City Administrator Jody Baltz
Monday, April 23, 2018 3:00PM-5:00PM DW Wilson Community Center

The Board of Mayor and Aldermen invite the community to a retirement reception honoring City Administrator, Jody Baltz, who served for nineteen years. The reception is Monday, April 23, 2018 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM at DW Wilson Community Center. At 5:30, Baltz will attend his last board meeting as the City Administrator.

“We greatly appreciate Jody Baltz’s service to Tullahoma, and his long tenure is testament to the confidence the Board of Mayor and Aldermen have in his leadership. He will be missed,” said Mayor Curlee.  “Fortunately, we have strong leadership in place to operate the City government during this transition , and I have confidence in Paul Blackwell as the Interim City Administrator.”

Baltz has left the city in great shape at all levels. “I think Tullahoma’s fortunate right now,” said Baltz. “We have a very effective staff across all our departments. I think we’re well positioned for the future. We have a good relationship with the county, and we’re in a good financial position right now. I think it bodes well for the future of the community.”

When asked what he’ll do with his free time, “We’ve got grandkids to see,” said Baltz. His family plans to stay in the area, “Tullahoma’s our home.”
